15 days big tour from Casablanca, to discover imperial cities, along with coastal cities of Morocco. You will walk at the old Medina of Fez; visit Mohamed V Mausoleum in Rabat, and Volubilis in Meknes, The middle Atlas mountain villages of Ifran, Azrou and Midelt. In addition, 5 days or More at the Sahara Desert, where you will enjoy camel trekking, visiting Kasbahs and Oases, sleeping under the stars and the calm and peace of the desert, and then to Taroudant, Essaouira and Marrakech city.

Day 1 Casablanca – Rabat

Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Casablanca to Rabat, but first we will visit the Grand Mosque in Africa, “Hassan II Mosque”, before traveling to the Capital city of Rabat. Rabat is remarkable by its Medina, and the historical Monuments, mostly Udayas Kasbah, and Mausoleum Mohamed V, which we are going to visit, before checking in a hotel to stay the first night of the tour there.

Day 2 Rabat- Meknes-Fez

In the morning and after having breakfast, we will travel to Fez via Meknes. Meknes is one of the imperial cities, turned to be once the capital of the kingdom in the reign of Moulay Ismail, famous for Bab El Mansour, and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After visiting these two places, we are going to have a ride at Volubilis, the Roman ruins which maintain a great scenery and worth to visit. After Meknes, it is the time to move to Fez, where we will stay a night.

Day 3 Fez “Exploration Day”

After taking your breakfast, we are not leaving Fez today, rather an exploration day with the tour Guide. Fez is the oldest city of the Kingdom, interested mostly on traditional Craftworks, which you will clearly notice when we will walk in the old Medina, visiting stores of Jewelry, Antiquities, leather, Pottery, and more. Feel free to take photos while the tour guide is leading you the way over the small streets of the medina. Lunch will be in a restaurant in the Borj, where you can see the whole medina, our day in Fez is not over yet, there will be a visit to the oldest university in the world “Al Quaraouiyine, and to the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss at Nejjarine, The Quaraouiyine Mosque. We are going to head back to our hotel at the end of the exploration day.

Day 4 Fez- Ifrane – Azrou- Midelt

After breakfast, we will make our way to the Middle Atlas mountain villages, great nature and people there. From Fez to Ifran, the Switzerland of Morocco, named for its beauty and similarity to a European city, and to Azrou, in the cedar forests to see monkeys, and to take lunch. We will then continue to Midelt, the Apple capital to stay a night there.

Day 5 Midelt- Ziz Valley- Erfoud- Rissani- Merzouga

After having breakfast, we will travel to Merzouga Desert while passing by Errachidia, to take lunch, serving you the local Berber Pizza, called “Medfouna”, and then via the panoramic Ziz Valley, to Erfoud visiting a local fossil workshop there, and Rissani. In our Arrival to Merzouga desert, Berbers will welcome you by a cup of Moroccan mint tea, before heading to Bed.

Day 6 Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

In the morning and after taking breakfast, you will have a tour by the 4×4 to discover the different parts of the desert. First, we will go to “Khamlia”, the village of the Black “Gnaoua” who came from Sudan, and who are known by their unique type of music, visiting their place of work, to know their culture and listen to their music. It depends on which time of the year; we will visit Merzouga Lake, who is known as the “Flamingos”. After lunch, we will have a camel trekking toward Erg Chebbi Dunes camp, to see the sunset, and spend a lovely night while having dinner and get amused by the Berber music.

Day 7 Erg Chebbi Dunes – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wonderful scenery of the sun rising over the golden Dunes will impress you; make sure to wake up early to see it. We will get back to the hotel to take shower, and breakfast, to depart to Rissani and Erfoud, visiting the craft workshops there, then Tinghir, and Todra Gorges to take lunch, and then explore these beautiful river canyons. Until Dades Valley, that is characterized by its rock formations labeled as “Monkey Toes”, to spend a night there.

Day 8 Dades Valley – Skoura Oasis – Ouarzazate

We will walk in the Dades Valley, take photos and admire the landscapes there, and to the Valley of Roses at Kelaat M’gouna, where the pure and local oils and cosmetics are produced and sold throughout Morocco, and where you can buy some. We will continue to visit Amridil Kasbah at Skoura Oasis, and to Ouarzazate, where many Hollywood Blockbusters are filmed such as Gladiator, to visit The Atlas Film Studios, before check-in in a hotel to stay the night.

Day 9Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou- Taroudant

After having breakfast, we will take a visit to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah; the famous one in Morocco, used as a place to store goods carried from Sub Saharan to Marrakech, cited to be a Unesco World Heritage Site for its historical interest. We will take lunch there, before continuing to Taroudant, we will visit a Safron Co-operative at Taliouine, the Capital of Safron. Arriving at Taroudant, “The little Marrakech”, we are going to have a walk in its small valleys, and Medina, until check-in in a hotel to stay the night.

Day 10Taroudant- Agadir- Essaouira

We will travel to Essaouira, after taking breakfast, passing by Agadir and the coastal road. First, we will stop at Agadir, to visit its small museum “The memoire d’Agadir”, and walk in the Medina, and along the beach, we may also see the “The Vallée des Oiseaux” park. Second, a stop in the coastal road, to take photos and watch the big Argan trees there, offering a wonderful view. Finally, we will reach Essaouira, to stay the night there.

Day 11 Essaouira Sightseeing

We will spend the day at Essaouira, and because the city is known for Argan Oil, we will have a visit to an Argan Cooperative, where you will see women squeezing the Argan fruit using their hands, and where you will have an idea about how the process of making the famous Argan Oil. Not only it is known by the Argan production, but also Surfing, Fish, Festival “Gnaoua” of music, which is open to many types of world music such as Jazz; we will then have a walk at the fishing port, and take a delicious lunch there, then take a horse riding at the Beach. We will also have a ride over the Ramparts, and in the Medina, where there are many shops, and craft shops, visit the Skala fortress, you can have a free time if you wish to see more about this small beautiful city, before heading back to the hotel.

Day 12 Essaouira- Marrakech

After having your breakfast, you can have a ride at Essaouira, and enjoy a fresh fish dish before leaving the city to Marrakech. In our road, we will stop several times to wonder the landscapes, take photos and have a great time, until arrival to Marrakech, where we are going to check-in in a hotel or riad, have a rest, and then a short visit to Jemaa El Fna to take a delicious dinner.

Day 13 Marrakech “Exploration Day”

A full day is dedicated to live an amazing adventure at Marrakech city. We will visit several places, The Koutoubia Mosque, The Saadian Tombs, The tanneries, and the magnificent Majorelle Garden. We will have lunch in a restaurant, before continuing our exploration day, visiting the Largest Square of Jemaa El Fna, which is full of merchants, who sell different categories of food, like Fresh orange Juice and fish, and also Snake charmers, Women applying Henna, and more interesting things to see out there, and where we are going to take lunch before heading back to our riad.

Day 14 Marrakech- Ouzoud Waterfalls – Marrakech

From Marrakech to visit Ouzoud waterfalls, which is 110 meters above sea waterfalls, which are worth to see and spend the day in, a peaceful place, where you can just enjoy the beautiful nature, and listen to the sound of Birds and water. Lunch will be there, and after that, we will have a walk around these wonderful waterfalls, along with the beautiful landscapes which certainly will make you want to visit it again and again. Before the end of the afternoon, we will go back to our riad in Marrakech.

Day 15 Marrakech- Ourika Valley- Marrakech

After having breakfast, another day to visit Ourika Valley, which is a region in the high Atlas, totally green during the year, it will be a great experience for climbers and who wish to see the high Atlas and their valleys. We will take lunch at the town of “Setti FATMA”, and then a ride over the place to enjoy the atmosphere, and the water which is cover the whole place. We will go back to Marrakech ending the 15 days tour.
